1. Not much to look at

没有太多可看的，说明样子的确让人看不下去。是不是有点儿“不忍直视”的赶脚？

例：The dog isn't much to look at, but he's a great hunting dog.

这只狗虽然样子不咋地，可他是很棒的猎狗。

2. Look a fright

Fright表示“惊吓”、“惊骇”，看上去就是个惊吓？ 这样出去吓唬人可不好啊~

例：You can't go out like that. Your hair looks a fright! 

你不能这么出门。你的头发太难看了！

3. Have a face like the back end of a bus

这个俚语表示非常丑陋，说起来比ugly还要命，还可以写作：look like the back end of a bus。说起来也是蛮伤人的，还是不用为妙~

例：He wrote to his friends that he dumped me because I look like the back end of a bus.

他写信跟他的朋友们说，他甩我是因为我长得难看。 

4. Not be a pretty sight

说某人某物不是一道漂亮的风景，意思就是“有碍观瞻”、“不顺眼”。

例：I can tell you, first thing in the morning he's not a pretty sight.

跟你说吧，早上头一件事儿，就是看他不顺眼。
